Trail Running

The Path of The Flood Historic Races is set for May 25, 2024, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania – a trail running event that explores the rich heritage of the region. The iconic event features three different race distances: 14 miles, 5 miles, and 8 miles. Part of the charm of this race is the unique terrain and scenic views of the town of South Fork as runners tackle steep inclines and exciting new trails.Participants can also experience the newly designed Trolley Line Extension, which showcases stunning views of Johnstown, before descending into The Heights of Woodvale. The finish line at Peoples Natural Gas Park provides a historical backdrop with the view of the historic Stone Bridge, adding to the significance as the event aligns closely with the 131st anniversary of the Johnstown Flood. Hosted by the Johnstown Area Heritage Association and the Cambria County Conservation & Recreation Authority, the event is a fusion of athleticism, exploration, and regional history.

HOKA Cielo X1

Endurance runners, behold the Hoka Cielo X1! This shoe isn't just footwear, it's a cloud-like chariot for your feet. Picture a NASA space boot designed with extra marshmallow fluffiness – that's the Cielo X1. I took these bad boys for a spin, and they did not disappoint.
