Mountain to Meadow
Conducted annually on June 8th, the Mountain to Meadow race offers a unique trail running experience for competitors of all skill levels in Lolo, Montana. The race offers participants the option to partake in a 21km half marathon or a 10km run. The courses follow scenic gravel forest service roads, starting and ending at the Lolo Pass Visitor’s Center, providing runners with stunning views of the Bitterroot Mountains, serene forests, and blooming meadows. Post-race celebrations include a sumptuous BBQ with fresh salads and local Big Sky beer to replenish the strength of the runners. To encourage inclusive competition, race awards are given to the top three male and female runners overall, as well as in varying age groups that range from 0 to 70+. The race is not only a celebration of endurance and athleticism, but a harmonious community event promoting health and the outdoor lifestyle.
