The Osprey Trail Run

The Osprey Trail Run is a unique trail running event set to take place in Fort Pierce, Florida on September 21, 2024. Now in its fifth year, the race offers two distances, 8 and 25 kilometers, catering to both beginners and seasoned trail runners. The venue, the picturesque George LeStrange Preserve, spans over 94 acres, providing a mix of technical single track winding trails, hard-packed gravel, beautiful oak-lined hammocks, and low-lying flatlands.The Osprey Trail Run also stands out for its charitable efforts, as all net proceeds are utilized to fund St. Lucie County's environmental education programs. The race is an integral part of a series of trail races occurring at various St. Lucie County preserves, each contributing to the success of the Oxbow Eco-Center's Earth Day Festival. So, not only do runners get a chance to challenge themselves, they also contribute to conserving the environment.
