Great Otway Gravel Grind

The Great Otway Gravel Grind is a must-experience annual gravel biking race set amid the breathtaking scenery of Cape Otway in Victoria. On February 25, 2024, cyclists from across the country and beyond will rise to the challenge of course distances of 97km and 49km. Known as the GOGG 97km Big Ring and the GOGG 49km Small Ring, these routes offer participants the rare chance to ride on traffic-free dirt roads through the Great Otway National Park’s lush forests and along the iconic Great Ocean Road.This captivating event, which debuted in 2017, is marked by a distinctive race format that includes timeout zones and coffee stops, where competitors can take a break, reconnect, and enjoy some socialization. Both expert riders and gravel biking beginners will find the Great Otway Gravel Grind an exceptional fusion of fellowship, competition, and natural splendor.
